Symptoms: When testing connection between dotDefender and Central Management, the following error appears:
"The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Please make sure the dotDefender is registered and dotDefender is enabled on the remote server."

Cause: Central Management might not be registered on the dotDefender server

Resolution: For "dotDefender for IIS" an extension must be registered; For "dotDefender for Apache" the Central Management IP address must be registered in the Admin panel. For specific instructions, see chapter "Registering CM on dotDefender server" in the Central Management Quick Start Guide, found in the documentation area:
