The NAT support feature allows dotDefender to properly identify client IP addresses while working behind a NAT device such as: Load-Balancer, proxy and firewall. Using the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header, the frontend device communicates the original client address as seen within the request. In order to enable this feature, browse to the 'Global Settings' section in the dotDefender interface. Select Follow X-forwarded-For headers behind a NAT device. This will enable dotDefender to distinguish and relate to the real client IP behind the load balancer. | |
